First of all Happy New Year stackers, I am extremely happy to report that Remember the Milk is being actively developed as we speak and the developer and myself need some help with suggestions and ideas of what BB Rtm will end up being. Right now the backend stuff with the API is being worked out and this week the GUI is coming to life, when the time comes we’ll open the beta to the general public and before that we’ll have a small alpha test group.
Devices Supported
_______________
I personally have 3 BB, an 8700C, 8800, and 8300 all running OS 4.2 and the developer and 8830 so we’ll need someone with a Pearl on 4.2 because initially that’s going to be the OS supported, perhaps in the future OS 4.1 will be supported but we’ll keep you guys posted here.
because this application has a lot of following the developer is asking for $100 because RIM API’s requires the code to be signed to actually install the application on the Blackberry, so right now the its being tested on the simulators again this is a direct quote from the developer, I am sure that coming up with the aforementioned amount will not be a problem, we’ll setup a paypal account, which I will post here so we can funnel the contributions here, the folks that help us raise this small amount, will receive the application BB Rtm for free with a corresponding license for life. Guys, this application is going to rock your world, the cost of the application is going to be somewhere in the ballpark of $19.99-$24.99 once its publicly released so its a good time to get in on the action.
If you are familiar with RTM then you’ll know that they have an iPhone version available for the PRO users and we are planning to offer similar functionality.
So to the conclude this initial post, make sure you post everything related to this application on this thread not to loose track of the all the important comments that will come our way.

A thought on Remember the Milk and why the Blackberry platform seems to just be the perfect fit.
December 29th, 2007 by Jorge Ledesma
This thought just came to mind; the developers of RTM put a lot thought and created an evolutionizing step in enhancing Rtm to take advantage of Google Gears to provide offline use resolving the issue of not having an internet connection, so ok, this works great; then they decided to create the pro option of iphone support, again a great and wise decision for the the Rtm staff so basically both the aforementioned example are solutions based on either having an internet connection or not, and its the “not” part of the equation that the next developmental decision should be geared towards in my humble opinion and what better example of a platorm that can handle both, having and not having an internet connection than the Blackberry. On the Blackberry, Rtm can be used with or without an internect connection an example could be when one goes to an area that is blocked out or out of reception one stil would have access to Rtm and the next time the Blackberry gets the signal back it would sync with the web-based version much like Google Gears acts giving users of Rtm the best of both worlds. Now wouldn’t this be great

Remember the Milk: I’m so loving this app

I just finished porting my entire gtd setup including project and next actions over to RTM and I upgraded to the pro version just to use iphone special version site on my desktop on Safari and all I can say is wow, I want an iTouch just so I can use this version its clean and simple lines makes this version of RTM amazing. There has been a lot more activity on the RTM forums to port that version to the blackberry platform and I am hopeful that the folks at RTM lesson to their clients. In the meantime folks start using RTM mobile it works excellent but without the eyecandy of the iPhone. I am currently using this on my desktop with rtm mobile with reminders via Google Talk which is also loaded on my blackberry. To be continued . . . .
