BerryDialer, an overlooked application that works like a charm . . .
October 15th, 2007 by Jorge Ledesma
Hello folks, hope all is well for you all as we start our new week, often times(at least it happens to me) we make calls via calling cards nationally an internationally and we wonder how can we incorporate our Berries to automate this process, you know how it goes, you want to make that call, men open their wallets, women open their purses then their wallet to look for calling card, whether its an AT&T calling card or one of those cards that allow international calls to a multitude of countries, eg. Latin America, Europe, Asia etc. etc. well this little old application is often overlooked and its not often mentioned in the newsgroup or forums but here is the link so you can check it http://www.s4bb.com/software/berrydialer/ I’m a registered owner of this and I’ve had it for a little while already ever since my 7290 days, then with the 8700c and now with my 8800, a cool thing about this application is that you can store upto a 100 calling cards, wow right, so it will suit everyones needs.
- Integrates with the native BlackBerry applications!
- Dial from your phonebook/phonelog without entering any calling card details!
- BerryDialer can store up to 100 calling cards simultaneously.
- No need to change any number in the details of your contacts.
- Works with virtually every calling card.
I am using it too and am very happy with it. It saves me up to 90% on international calls
I just got some infos from a insider at S4BB who told me that there is the new version coming soon. We will see.
Nice investigative work, keep me post so I can update the application, sweet, I love this app.
