A site about Blackberry and GTD
Well it seems like Next-Action has a good competitor . . .

But its on the Pocket PC platform, its called nActionr and its much like Next-Action but for windows mobile pc, here is a link for your perusal http://nactionr.com/
Hey Jorge, thanks for the mention. I’ve been using nActionr personally for some time now and only recently thought I’d see if there was anything in my friends’ prodding to release it.
There seems to be some interest out there, and the feedback I’ve had so far has been far more helpful than tinkering around with it myself for months would have been.
I’ve got an update in testing which rectifies some UI layout issues and also improves the look and feel of the application. I expect to release it generally in a few days time.
Thanks Jonathan, I was really impressed with your application, I only wish it was for blackberry, any chances, jaja, but nevertheless your application is awesome, I have not had a chance to try it but I will soon and from what I saw it looks solid !
I have no technical limitations that prevent me from creating a blackberry version (in terms of what languages I know or fanatical hatred of anything non-windows) but I don’t have a blackberry to work with and I don’t know if the blackberry has a good third party development infrastructure or not.
Obviously if the infrastructure is there then the only limitation is actually having a blackberry to work with. Maybe one day.
Well, maybe the blackberry community can make a donation by providing you with a blackberry, I truly believe the Blackberry platform is the next best thing after being a Palm zealot for years(I had all Palm Pilots since the Palm III) and then seeing them slowly fall behind was truly disappointing but on the other hand the Berry application community is rapidly growing day by day, even Pocket Informant is being developed for the blackberry community, there is talk of an end of year release, what about them apples, think about PI on a blackberry that’s going to totally revolutionize Blackberry PIMs, the SplashData applications are already written for Blackberry, and I was so impressed to see the Medical applications of the Skyscape corporation being developed for Blackberry and everyday I’m happily surprised that developers like you are recognizing that this is where its at,so let me know and we’ll see what we can do.
I’m not going to ask for a donation, but should one occur I would certainly develop nActionr for the Pocket PC.
I have been doing some reading of the BlackBerry developer center and it certainly looks doable.
If you (the BlackBerry community) decide to do this then I can only say that I will do my part to develop and release a version of nActionr.
As an aside, there was an underlying thread through all the coverage nActionr has received and that was the price. Based on research I have been doing since the release of the application, nActionr’s price has been reduced to $19.95 effective immediately. I’m hoping this would put it within reach of any Pocket PC (and, maybe in the future, BlackBerry) users.
Jonathan that sounds great, $19.95 is a great price, now I’ll see what we can do to get you a blackberry, I really think you’re application will get a great welcoming in the Blackberry community !!
